Important: Your TTR can only be sent on your Day 4 of isolation.
The UK government requires ALL travellers arriving in England from an Amber Country List, MUST complete a Passenger Locator Form (https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk) and self-isolate for 10 days in the place they are staying from the date of arrival in England.
However, any passengers arriving from Amber List countries (visit https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-travel-corridors#history for Amber List countries) can opt to have a COVID-19 test on day 5, and if the result is negative they can reduce quarantine period. This scheme is called Test-To-Release (TTR).
You can order your TTR testing kit at any time: before you leave UK or before arriving in the UK or when you arrive back at home.
1st Class Testing will help you to shorten your quarantine period if your COVID-19 PCR test on day 5 is negative.
You can order your self-swabbing or COVID-19 PCR testing kit using our website. Please take care to enter your personal details as indicated in your passport, with correct postal address, and contact details.
1st Class Testing will send you a self-swabbing kit with easy to use instructions. The kit will include clear and concise instructions to use, a sample swab, a collection tube, a safe transportation packaging, and a return postal packaging/envelope. Once you have self-swabbed, you can return the sample for analysis to our partnered by either posting it via Royal Mail Priority Post Box (see www.royalmail.com/services-near-you to find your nearest priority post box and collection times).
Once receiving the sample, we will processed immediately for next day results. The test result will be emailed to you in a PDF format which can be safely saved to your device (Smartphone, Tablet, Laptop or Desktop computers) for printing if a hard copy is required by your destination country’s immigration authority. Our aim is to help you shorten your quarantine time when possible!
Test kits can only be purchased through the website.
